This course is open to cadets aged 16+.

This 6-day course in Norway is designed to teach students the basics of Nordic skiing on high-level terrain, with the specific aim of completing an overnight self-supported ski tour staying in a mountain hut at the end of the course. The course content includes clothing and equipment and winter mountain hazards.

Some previous skiing experience is desirable (SF1 standard) but not essential as this course is primarily aimed at novices.

Included is transport to and from the UK, in country travel, accommodation on a full board basis, instruction, equipment hire and insurance. COST is £450.
