Annual Camp 2022!

Normally cadets' favourite camp of the year, and hopefully a return to a more normal experience this year! It will be held at SMP and will be very similar to 2019 - lots of shooting, Fieldcraft, FIBUA (firing in built up areas which is learning how to raid / clear houses and firing blanks whilst doing so, this is something senior cadets really enjoyed in 2019), Adventure Training (can include activities such as climbing, paintballing, canoeing, quadbiking etc) and of course a competition day! If you have any questions, speak to a senior cadet (y12 & y13) who have been before so can give you more information, but it will be a very enjoyable week. There are also plenty of photos and summaries of this camp from attendees in 2019 in event reviews. 

Cadets need to be aware that they must be on camp the whole time barring any unfortunate accident. They cannot come and go. This year, our numbers for camp have been cut by half so every place is highly sought after. Please consider this when you apply to attend. Details of leaving and returning and a kit list (nothing special required) will be supplied after Easter. We encourage all cadets to attend. It will be a really memorable experience for all. 

For any cadets who haven't completed it, The Military Swim Test will be carried out in February (it is very simple and undemanding), so we will update records after this is complete.
