About the Event

On the weekend of Friday 6th September to Sunday 8th September 2019 we will again be attending parachute training and a jump at the Army Parachute Association HQ @ Netheravon, Wiltshire (near Stonehenge - www.netheravon.com).

This is open to all cadets aged 16 or above. We’ve specifically booked this date as it should mean all Year 11 and above pupils will be eligible.

The cost is £165 and includes transport, contribution towards food (cafeteria on site or food can be brought), accommodation, ground school training, first jump (static line), hire of all your equipment, packing of your parachute, British Parachute 3rd Party Insurance and Army Parachute Membership.

A second jump may be available on the weekend for approx. £45 depending on weather and availability. In the event of poor weather, training will still go ahead with an alternative jump date to be arranged. If this is the case girls can make their own arrangements if needed in order to get a convenient date or attend on a rearranged date with us.

A limited number of places are available on a first come first served basis on receipt of a fully completed application and parental permission form together with a deposit of £50. The remaining £115 is due by Friday 31st May 2019.

At least two CCF adult officers/Cadet Force Adult Volunteers will accompany the girls, one of whom will be female.
