About the Event
A fantastic opportunity to experience the strength, force and sheer Fire power of a modern Artillery Battery firing ‘Live’ rounds on the extensive firing ranges of Salisbury Plain
The Royal Artillery provides firepower to the British Army. The RA is responsible for finding the enemy using a variety of high-tech equipment and then when needed, striking them using everything from explosive shells to advanced precision rockets.
By special invitation we have been invited to take a small number of Cadets along to the Artillery ranges to see and feel a demonstration of ‘live firing’ and then a guided tour of the artillery pieces and the supporting equipment needed to detect an enemy and accurately drop ordnance to that location.
There are only a few spaces available on this trip so an early application is recommended.
