Fri 24 Sept
|Wellington Barracks
The War Widows Association is celebrating their 50th Birthday. We want to be part of it. We want to show how modern women can support others who have lost their menfolk in war and also show that we understand a little more about the nature of conflict. Please come and join us!

About the Event
Senior Sign up for the War Widow Founders Day on Friday 24 September, at Wellington Barracks in London. We will be leaving school at 0830 and returning home by 1600. You must be in immaculate #2 uniform – please collect from the fort – let Sgt Abdali know when it is best to report for this. We can take a full minibus (15 cadets). You must have exceptional drill as we are also looking for a squad to take back into London for the WWA Remembrance Pde at the Cenotaph on 13 November. More details to come on that.
If we have more who want to come along, we will see what we can do but the first 15 to sign should be prepared to travel.
You need to take £5 to buy your lunch and have water with you and get your uniform in enough time to make sure…
